Grey Art Gallery
 The Grey Art Gallery is located on historic Washington Square Park, Greenwich Village, in New York City on the New York University Campus. The gallery harbors a wide collection of about 6000 objects including 19th and 20th century artwork featuring Picasso’s sculpture ‘Bust of Sylvette’ and a stained glass window from Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin house in Buffalo. The art gallery also features a variety of American paintings from the 1940’s to present day contemporary artists. You’ll find works by Elaine de Kooning, Helen Frankenthaler, Arshile Gorky, Kenneth Noland, Ad Reinhardt, Adolph Gottlieb, and Rmoare Bearden among others. You’ll also find some prints by Henri Matisse, Picasso, and Miro. On a more cosmopolitan note, there are also selections from Asia, and the Middle East in NYU’s Ben and Abby Weed Grey Collection.

DIRECTIONS: The Grey Art Gallery is located inside the NYU Silver Center at 100 Washington Square East. Located at the meeting point of SoHo and the East and West Villages, the gallery can be reached by public transportation. SUBWAY: A, B, C, D, E, F or V to West 4th Street; R or W local to 8th Street; 6 local to Astor Place; 1 or 9 local to Christopher Street. BUS: M1, M2, M3, M5, and M6 to 8th Street.
