Franz Kline Life and Death

-Franz Kline is born in 1910 in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
-In 1931 he goes to Boston University and then goest to an art school in London.
-He moves to New York City and in 1939 his work is discovered in an outdoor exhibition.
-In 1950 he has his first solo show demonstrating his abstract expressionist style.
-He teaches at the Black Mountain College, The Pratt Institute, and the Philadelphia Museum School of Art until his death in 1962.
